Research Unit
Goal: To carry out action based research, which contributes to the efficiency of all CCDT projects and makes optimum use of lessons learnt.

CCDT's rapid expansion in the past few years has brought about a need to give precedence to research and documentation. The unit focuses on various aspects of project designing, monitoring and evaluation. It conceptualizes, plans and implements all CCDT projects using an integrated, sustainable and participatory approach.

Supplementary Activities:

Documentation
  • Bringing into a system documents generated by the organisation.
  • Collation of documents produced outside the organisation and of use to the organisation.
Proposal writing
  • Providing inputs to the research component of a proposal.
  • Writing proposals for research projects.
Library
  • The Library functions under the Research Cell.
  • The Cell supports the Library in its activities by way of keeping a track of books taken by internal staff and external professionals from other organizations
